You can get driver saving software dtg.exe. However, it doesn't seem to be available now. If you email me with your email address I'll send you a copy

You cant extract the drivers that are installed already.
Your best bet is to find all the drivers before you rebuild and put them all on a cd.....This way you have a backup of them.....
If you need help finding them, just update this post or email me and include your computer and model number "located on the back, or underneath for a laptop".....

Well..what I would do is first make a folder on your HD say like Drivers...than I would go to all the manufacturers of your puters inner workings and go to thier support pages and then to downloads and pick each piece of hardware it has and download the most current drivers for your hardware...if it is a OEM computer than go to your computers makers website..ie: Dell, Gateway..etc...and go to the support page for downloads and pick which system you have or the hardware installed and get the drivers that way.....save all the drivers you downloaded to the folder you created and than burn them to a cd....then when you reinstall your OS you can specify where the drivers for your hardware are and install them!

I was also in your trouble; now, this is my solution :
Copy all drivers such as audio, VGA card,... into a hard disk drive; and then burn it into CD. How can we know the correct drives?! when you buy hardware or PC, the provider must give you the correct drive disk. You should copy it into your hard disk that not contain to use in the future when you rebuild.
When you rebuild your computer, you only need to set up Windows; and then you can set up for all hardware with your drives in your hard-disk or your CD. If you have any problem or I write unclear, contact my email address hqhieu@gmail.com
