CFL or NFL which is a better game?

Personally, I think the CFL is a superior game, played by inferior athletes.

I will take a CFL game over an NFL.
I can relate better with the teams (being Canadian and all), the history of the league is just amazing, much faster game, IMO better athletes.
And when it comes time for the Grey Cup, we'll play it in the snow. I hate the NFL always playing in a dome or in the South for the Super Bowl. Give Buffalo or New England a super bowl.

I could list more, just can't think right now. I still do like the NFL though, I just prefer the CFL

I like your logic. Only thing I don't really like about the CFL is not enough killer hits like in the NFL. Other that that the Grey Cup always beats the Super Bowl for entertainment and I like the more open passing attacks.

Overall, inferior athletes but it does take a better athlete in some sense to play in the CFL. QBs in the NFL have it easy esp. throwing the out patterns on a narrower field.

The CFL is a much more entertaining game. Faster paced, bigger plays and a bigger field. The players also don't have the egos that the NFL players do, so it is more about the game and less about the players. And don't forget that in Canada, our balls are bigger.

CFL is by far the better game. I'd like to see it played on a NFL size field with NFL players, then it would be the greatest game on the planet. GO RIDERS!!!

I'm an Aussie, so I havn't really seen much CFL, certainly not as much as the NFL.

But from what I have seen I like the CFL better. It's not played as conservatively, it's faster and is more pass-oriented.

The NFL can have it's superstars and 4 downs, I'd rather watch the Canuck version.

The NFL is too flashy, with the big stadiums and HUGE payrolls. The CFL is more conservative, with the average player making a LOT less than their NFL counterparts. Top QBs like Anthony Calvillo and Dave Dickenson make a million dollars a year, if they are lucky. The CFL also has more of a tendency to pass the ball, since it only has 3 downs. And kick returns in the CFL are also really special, with the 10 extra yards on the field. I just remember when Ezra Landry of the Als took one from near his end zone all the way for a TD (there are many other good KR/PR specialists in the CFL, I'm just an Als fan). So ya, I'll go with the CFL, a good, homey, fundamentally sound game which is exciting.

Just think of it like this. Why do Canadian players go to the States to play? Its green, simple as that. In my opinion the skill of the players are the same, just different styles of play. That's all.

I enjoy watching both Canadian and American Football. I believe that the Canadian game is much more faster paced - with a wider, longer field and only 3 downs to work with.

I think one of the worst things that the CFL did was take away the expansion teams that were in the US in the 1990's. I think that if the CFL had put expansion teams in the northern United States (MT, ND, SD, WY, ME) instead of southern states (LA, TX) then the expansion could have been a success - provided that the money would be there for those teams. I think the only team that made any kind of profit was the team from Baltimore.

I think you are right on both points, unfortuneately (sp?) the CFL doesn't have the deep pockets to pay what the NFL does, as far as the rules, they make it a much more interesting game.
