What do you think is causing the shooting rise in Toronto?

I live in the Greater Toronto Area and I was wondering. Ten years ago, there were 16 gun murders in Toronto, ten years later there is 52. What's causing the shooting rise in your opinion?

Music Man? Na just kidding. Ya 52 that's the highest killing city in Canada. I know you have a huge gun rate in the U.S. I think it's because of the 2nd ammendmant you have there. The guns laws are really tough. You have to pay $5000 for a gun training course. I don't own a gun, that's what I hear
There was a lot of guns that were smuggled from the USA.
Pimps have a lot of money to have collections of guns.
Pimps use narcotics
Pimps do their argument with guns.

I think its time to change the law . canadian law is easy on criminals , kids knows they woun't get hard punishment if they kill some one or steel something , any age will get away with crime cuz every one knows the canadian law which will find the criminal is the victim and the victim is criminal

Yes, that's true the percentage really went up the last 5 years, but compare with American the number is not that big. I know I have been in Indiana-Gery for visit, it is absolute scary to live there. Lot of people move from there I know couple friends they moved from Gery.
