I heard the girls at the hospital Wednesday saying 'there is a shooting in town! we are going to have patients sent here so make sure you have plenty of O negative blood!' i was like.. 'where is the shooting?', Dawson's college.. holy **** my father works just next to it! i called my dad, to know what happen, he told me that he was having dinner and suddenly, all the people started screaming and laying down on the floor. a man look up the window and saw the students running for their lives.
i was pretty shocked, and i watch the news when i got home at 5pm (which i never do). couldn't be able to cook the supper. even 3-4 hours after the events, people on the streets were stressed, they walked faster, without a smile. and all were wondering.. who.. why..
now Dawson's college is closed until Monday and the surroundings of it are filled with words, letters and flowers. the day after the even, i received at the lab a bullet fragment, which i described and sent to the police.. in some way, i did was i could to help on the inquiry. fortunately, only minorly injured patients came to our hospital and they all went home by now..
but still.. it gets people thinking here, about the Dawson shooting, about the Concordia even in 1992 and most of all about the shooting at the école polytechnique in 1989 where a guy against feminism went in there and shoot 14 young women before killing himself.. no where is safe now.
