Why do NATO countries like Canada characterize its soldiers as the champions of human rights in Afghanistan?

They talk a lot about basic human rights like equality and education for woman and we see the soldiers hand out education material. However, not one general or government official has ever uttered a word about freedom of religion.

President Hamid KARZAI is coming to Canada this week to talk. Will he have the moral will to put freedom of religion in a written constitution.

Or will President Hamid KARZAI deny the 1000 korea christian missionaries that wanted to attend the 2006 Peace festival in Kabul.

Perhap the soldiers should hand out Bibles or Buddist, Sihk, or other religious scriptures to really test President Hamid KARZAI.

You realize of course, that Hamid Karzai has virtually no power outside of the Kabul area, right?

Local wits often refer to him as "the Mayor of Kabul".....

Asker's Comment:
Well someone should remind the mayor that Kabul is in Afganistan and not in Ottawa or New York. I think he's lost :)
(BTW, for the record, I support the troops. I just think they should nuke the bastards)
