Is the War in Iraq and the War on Terror creating more terrorists?

Does anyone else think that the war on terror and the war in Iraq has destabilized the world and made it a more dangerous place? IMHO Iraq is a breeding ground for extremists. What do you think?

Sadly I agree that the War on terror is creating more terrorists. But in so far as it's is giving Radical leaders the "enemy" to rally others to "their" cause.
It has not destabilized the world. 9/11 destabilized the world. No one seems to be blaming Terrorists for it though. Except those fighting against them.
Is it more dangerous? Yes. However if someone came into your home and killed your family how would you react? would you try to catch all those responsible or only the ones who "pulled the trigger" Cause the one who ordered the execution are going to do it again.
Iraq a breeding ground. I disagree. I think it is a training ground. It provides "outside" terrorists the opportunity to take aim at the US because that's were the US is.
These are my thoughts.
BTW the terrorists responsible for the attack were planning this years ago. They are not being bred. They were already bred. This just fueled the flame.

No. The terrorists were already there. The only difference is that the war on terror has caused the problem to be concentrated in one area, instead of spread out all over.
Please, the war on terror hasn't recruited any more terrorists than there already were.
Ask those who were forced to leave Afghanistan when the Taliban took over.

Saddam was not behind 911 as everybody knows, he has no weapons of mass destructions, no terrorists in Iraq during his regime, why then did America invaded Iraq?
Americans should not be surprised when they are targeted by terrorist, as they surely will be, it is only a matter of time!!

No. I think the war on terror is an attempt to end radical Islam. Rightfully.

Jimmy Carter tried to negotiate with them when they were infants.

I disagree strongly. There were terrorists running amok long before the war in Iraq. Hundreds of Marines were killed in Lebanon in 1893 by terrorists. Iranian terrorists kidnapped American citizens when Jimmy Carter was President. Do you know or remember why?
The Shah of Iran was dying of cancer and wanted to come to the US from Mexico for treatment. The nut-case Ayatollah tried to force Carter to let the Shah die in Mexico. Does kidnapping Embassy workers make any sense? No.
Bin Laden has been causing trouble for about 30 years.
If anything, the terrorists are coming out of the woodwork and concentrating in Iraq. It is better to keep the crazies busy there than having them wreaking mayhem all over the world.

If anything it has polarized the sides on our timetable not theirs. Those that were predisposed to terrorism have taken up that mantle and those that find the ideology abhorent have become more vocal. The positive is we have brought them out to fight armed forces instead of murdering our children. All you need do is look at current events to realize that it has not destabilized the world. The violence is almost wholly confined to those deserts, none evident on the streets of our countries.

yea, if we wouldnt have went there and just let it continue it might stop one day. But if we start to work towards fixing the problem it may actually stablize something that has never been stable. Iraq is just the foothold we need to begin something bigger that must be addressed.
