Iran ready to fill void in Iraq

Tehran - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Tuesday the power of the United States was rapidly collapsing in Iraq and that Iran was ready to step in to help fill the vacuum.

My biggest concern is the common man in Iraq. Who is just hanging like a pendulum between the PEACE KEEPERS and RELIGION LOVERS. And there is no escape.

The military has to be functioning, proficient, and in place, before the United States can withdraw.

Plus if the Iraqi government fails, the military can have a coup d'ete, and stand against Iran.

My biggest concern is the politicians are running the war NOT the generals. This will only lead to failure. I was against the war BUT since we started it we have to finish it. After the job is done then we can point fingers and hold any "illegal" activity on the part of the "intelligence agencies" accountable for their deception.

That we leave and Iraq turns into a haven for large scale terrorist training, financing and control.

That the military will continue its failed strategy of "area warfare" (having units isolated in bases while the ground between the bases and the Iraqi borders are a wide open no-man's land).

I think we if sent more troops, or at least used the Iraqi troops to seal up Iraq's borders, and I mean sealed tight, the insurgency would dry up.

When you cut off the supplies of new bombs and conscripts, then the insurgency will only be as strong as it is right now, and will have to be whittled down to nothing over time.

That we start a war soon after we leave IRaq!
Certainly it will be a shorter one!
It will be an easier one. (to boost our national morale)
And hopefully this time... we'll be able to profit from it all!
Rebuilding the country we attack is KEY to the sucess of America going to WAR!
