What is the difference between the liberal party, the conservative party, the NDP and the Bloc?

The Bloc and Consevatives are pretty much the same. They are on the far right of the political scale. Which means they usually like to keep with "traditional" values ie. religion, marriages, abortion etc.. as for policy they believe in low corporate taxes but to hell with blue collar workers and unions. The Liberals are now fence sitters lately and very close to the centre of the scale. They aren't even sure where they fit in. And the NDP are as close to socialism as you can get by still maintaining a democracy which would make them on the left of the scale. They believe in hgih taxes and government social programs such as medicare. Hope this helps.

Each party has different beliefs, the Conservatives are the party of business, the Liberals are the party closer to the middle, the NDP is the party of the working people, and the Bloc is the party whose only purpose is to take Quebec out of Canada.

The NDP are fairly socialist and idealistic.
The Bloc are separatists only found in Quebec.
The Green Party are Eco-Capitalist, thus for free enterprise with an environmental conscience.
The liberals are Fiscally conservative and socially liberal.
The Conservatives are fiscally conservative and socially conservative.
