The Bloc and Consevatives are pretty much the same. They are on the far right of the political scale. Which means they usually like to keep with "traditional" values ie. religion, marriages, abortion etc.. as for policy they believe in low corporate taxes but to hell with blue collar workers and unions. The Liberals are now fence sitters lately and very close to the centre of the scale. They aren't even sure where they fit in. And the NDP are as close to socialism as you can get by still maintaining a democracy which would make them on the left of the scale. They believe in hgih taxes and government social programs such as medicare. Hope this helps.

In the "Best Answer", the person say that Bloc and Conservatives are pretty much the same. I suspect that you don't really understand French. Bloc is far much on the left of the political scale than on the right. They share a lot more with NPD than conservative. But Bloc is a pro-decentralization.

There are no differences between any of the Parties. They all want power and control of the people and their money. Will there ever be a Government for the people? The only Government there is,only takes care of their own "people" and no one else. Unfortunately this is the wrong question to ask.
