Good Romance Novel?
I usually read Virginia Henley novels. I really like historic settings, but really trashy. Nothing is too much for me. Does anyone have any good recommendations?

Yes, I have a recommendation. This may sound mean, but I recommend you trash the trashy romance novels. Something like Jane Eyre would probably be MUCH more stimulating to the mind. It has romance, but not the kind that you should feel ashamed for reading.
I hope this didn't sound preachy--but I really think you'd be better off with different reading material.

Sorry, but no. If you want to read a GOOD romance (but no sex or even heaving bosoms), try Stendhal's The Red and the Black.

I don't normally read romance novels, but here are a couple that I've tried and enjoyed. I wouldn't call them trashy but I really have no basis for comparison. You may like them, since you say that you enjoy historical settings.
The Mermaid's Song by Marianne Willman
The Last Mermaid by Shana Abe
The first book takes place in the 19th century. Even though it has mermaid in the title, it's not really about a mermaid. There is a lot of mermaid lore mentioned in the book, though. This story reminds me a little of Jane Eyre, with the brooding leading man and schoolteacher leading lady.
The second book is actually about a mermaid, or rather, a family with mer-folk, or siren, heritage. It covers 3 separate generations of the family from medieval times, to the Renaissance, and finally, modern times. It's a very captivating story.
