misfires p0300 is a general misfire p0301 is cyl 1 p0302 is cyl 2 etc

go to an auto parts store and buy a repair book for your car. It will have the most common engine codes. Or if your a cheapskate like me you could just stand in the store and check the codes and write them down without buying the book.

P0301 thru 08 would indicate misfires in specific cylinders.
