I know some states have indeed banned it, but I dont know about Alabama specifically.

It probably will be restricted to schedule 1, and for the same reasons mj is illegal.. So they can make the real thing illegal, make a synthetic version, and then charge an arm and a leg for something that is no where near the real thing.

There have been bills proposed in most states but most have FAILED. That's because there is no real reason to ban it. There haver been any proven side effects of it. Anyway I suggest you go to http://www.Salvia.md for more detailed info on legality, etc.
