Kenya,what can be done.?
What can be done about Kenya? Is it not time Britain in particular done something to help one of its former colonies? If the average person in Britain knew half of what went on in that Country, there would hopefully, and rightly outrage. Why in all the charity concets for Africa,is Kenya just a passing thought,is it just because there is no celebrity endorsement, unlike Sudan,Ethiopia etc? I only wish someone with power and influence would take an interest in this Country and it's people.

If no one else does anything, why don't you. All it takes is one person. We can also pray. There is a couple at my church who the husband is from Kenya and his family is very close to the fighting. They had to go to the US embassy to stay there. Who knows if when they go back if their house still will be standing. If they are safe that is all that counts. One can build a house again. It is the family. You could go over there and help the people who aren't fighting and help the people who are in the midst of it. Get them out or get the US government to recognize what is going on.

The thing is there is someone with the potential power to do something and who you would think had an invested interest in Kenya. Obama??? I have yet to hear him even mention or acknowledge the fact that Kenya is in such a disarray. I guess this is just another one of those times when his lack of experience has and will leave him bemused and useless as a leader.
