If you make her jewlery she'll really appreciate it even if she's not crazy about it. Find a local bead store and tell them about the girl (age and some interests, favorite color) and they'll get you set up with everything you need to make a matching bracelet and earrings.

    make a card. or buy a really good one.
    girls love sappy stuff like that.
    and be creative.
    plan a romantic day together.
    or think back to when you first started dating to something she said, did or talked about and act on that...
    take her on a romantic picnic.....or make her a dozen heart shaped cookies....paint her something?
    and flowers, you cant go wrong.

    Some cheap gift ideas are:
    * Movie money vouchers
    * A DVD (a chick flick or comedy is a safe bet for most women)
    *Homebaked goodies like cookies or cupcakes (decorated with pink/red icing or heart cachous) - use a packet mix if you're not a great cook
    * Buy a cake tin in the shape of a heart, and cook up a homemade cake, again packet mixes are the friend of the culinarily challenged.
    * A bottle of wine or champagne (if you're of legal drinking age)
    * Dinner, or coffee & cake
    * A CD (matching her musical tastes)
    * Individualised gifts that reflect her interests. E.g. I buy my husband books, and supplies for his hobby (roleplaying games like D&D).
    * Chocolates
    * Picnic in the park (if you're not a good cook, buy some pastries from a bakery, and some fresh fancy fruit)
    * Flowers
    * A cute stuffed toy (especially if she's under 25 or so)
    * Homemade card

    Write her a poem.
    WRITE WRITE WRITE.
    It doesn't matter if it's cheesy, or love-dovey...
    We think it's cute.
    Put it on a card to give to her, or read it to her in public.
    Reading it to her is a major plus.
    Especially with a teddy bear and flowers.
    And, DON'T get her a Valentine's day themed teddy bear..
    That's TOO cheesy.

    Most important, don't seem like you were forced...
    That majorly brings a girl down.

    Also, remember to show that you really care for her...
    We melt for stuff like that.

    make a diary with picture and flower and poems

    I'm real, what you get is what you see
    What you trying to do to me
    You want to say you're mine
    Be with me all the time
    You're falling so in love
    Say you just can't get enough
    You're telling all your friends

    even though it winter see if you can find somwhere to pick flowers wrap them in a napkin and give it to her it will show what you went to to do this and that you care enough not to by some valintine commercial gift or rose

    or get a picture of you two put it in a plastic containg with a twist cover and find a jar that will fit it inside put glidder in the second jar and fill it with water it will be like a snow globe put hearts around the jar and have it read happy valintines day

    Buy her a bouquet of roses and in the middle put a fake but real looking(enough) rose. Put a tag on that rose saying "I will love you until the last rose wilts".
    Or buy a mirror and acid etch it (it can be done in some stores) or simply write "The person pictured here is the most important in my life"
