What's the deal with that guy with blue skin?

I heard it mentioned in the news but couldn't stay around long enough it hear for the explanation.

he was drinking collidal silver for misclanous health problems. Over the course of inrtoudcing silver into his blood, it gave his skin a blue appearence.

The guy is an idiot. He takes some kind of silver preparation he thinks is somehow good for him and it's side affect is the odd blue coloration to his skin. If he stops taking the crap it would go away.

He drinks silver. He believes it is a herbal remedy for some common thing he has. I think it was cronic indesgition. Anyway, the silver collected under his skin and turned him blue.
