Should I subscribe to The Hill Times or the Economist?

I am having a hard time deciding between getting a one-year subscription to either The Hill Times (the "influential" Parliament Hill weekly based in Ottawa) or The Economist (the ever-so famous international affairs weekly based in London). Does anyone have any recommendations? Any subscribers out there? My interests lie both in Canadian politics and international affairs, but I would like to pick the mag. of which I'll get the most out of it.

While The Hill Times will almost certainly do a better job of covering Canadian politics, it's hard to beat The Economist for its depth of coverage of international news. If Canadian politics is big enough to be a deal-breaker for you, go for The Hill Times, otherwise you can't go wrong with The Economist.

Concise and to the point. Answer asks me my interest and then gives me a response based on that, so it's very well written.
