How are you going to help the earth on earth day?

Personally i think earth day is a bad idea. There shouldne be a special day to help save our planet we should do it all the time!

I helped my kindergarten class start a recycling program at the beginning of the month and today we picked up litter around the community near our school. I think we should have an Earth Day because it helps draw attention to the cause and will hopefully attract people who weren't interested before.

Ok at first i thought you one of those people that hate everything and don't care but i agree with you every day should be earth day :) Btw im going to go to the beach and pick up trash (cigarette butts and plastics and stuff)

My friends n I will plant some trees n
clean up a local park from debris.

Well , I am going to plant 1 tree rather every human being should contribute for this day. If every family plant at least 1 tree on this day , earth would be a better place to live in . We can avoid Global Warming to some extent so that our generation can live on pollution free earth.

Keep most lights in my house off, drive only in an emergency situation, and run as little water as possible.

Well I personally think it is a great idea as well. This is because we need to have respect for our Earth, OUR HOME!

Earth Day is great and it is a great way to raise awarness about various threats we have upon our Earth. For instance, Global Warming is placing a huge impact on our earth and as a society

I think we all can make a difference. I also liked the idea of Earth hour. I am sure that raised awarness around the world!

Simple things like using floresent light bulbs instead of incadesent ones can make a difference. Like turning electrical appliances off when they are not in use saves electricity (ENERGY)! We can plant more trees as well. Drive cars only when nessecary. Use less water. ALso recycle. All these things can make a big difference and decrease our ecological footprint! Its a step! And I am taking one. Its a change for the better!!!

So basically earth day actually is there to help raise awarness about the impact faced upon our Earth. We should always be taking care of our earth. So this day is just there to help people realize this.
