What should I wear before leaving my wedding reception?

I am getting married in August and I will be changing out of my wedding gown before we leave from the reception. I need some suggestions for what kind of dress to change into and what color it should be. It will be a semi-formal evening wedding.

I would wear something simple and silky in a floral pattern.Maybe strapless or with spaghetti straps and some strappy high heeled sandals to match.
Colours are so lovely now that they can be matched easily to your skin tone,hair colour etc.

I think a white sun dress, one that's made really well since your wedding is semi-formal. Since presumably no one would be wearing white but you; and it's still really hot in August, at least where I live. GL!

You can wear anything that you want to. If your taking a trip right after the reception, then wear something comphy.I have seen alot of women wear a white or off white pant suit or semi dressy dress. As long as you feel good in it, you will look great!. Congrats!
