Brown vaginal discharge.. please, help.?

I have been given medication from my nurse to firstly treat thrush. The symptoms didn't go away so she gave me medication for BV, but the swabs came back negative.
When I first noted this ailment, my discharge was a greeny/yellowish colour. Now, it's brown, very thick and I feel lethargic. Sex is painful.
I'm not close to my period, I've been taking Microgynon for years (17 - I'm 20 now) and I'm in a monogamous 3 year relationship.

Can someone please advise me of any other possible illness I may have?

P.S. Before you think of writing a stupid, immature answer, do not waste my time.

Different Types of Vaginal Discharge:
* White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.
*Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.
* Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.
* Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.
* Spotting Blood/Brown Discharge: This may occur when you are ovulating/mid-cycle. Sometimes early in pregnancy you may have spotting or a brownish discharge at the time your period would normally come. If you have spotting at the time of your normal period rather than your usual amount of flow, and you have had sex without using birth control, you should check a pregnancy test.Honestly, I would go back to the doctor and tell them that you are concerned about the discharge. Here's a link on types of discharge for you to look at: http://www.pamf.org/teen/health/femalehe… I found it by typing in the search box brown vaginal discharge or something similar. I know how you feel and since you have pain during sex and you are questioning about the discharge I would suggest that you need to go to your doctor and tell them about what you are experiencing. It is hard to diagnose without a test being done at the doctor's office.I hope this helps.
