Why are the canadian general elections happening so often (three times in four years)?

This is a normal occurrence with minority governments. If the opposition defeats a bill that is a confidence bill then the government will fall. Also the Party in power if they feel they can't govern effectively will call an election in the hopes they will receive a majority of seats in the House of Commons.

    Minority governments.

    Party politics is about taking power in the form of a majority government.

    Minority governments is about building consensus in order to govern. Unfortunately we have a few donkeys who put party before country. These donkeys make it impossible to govern when governing is necessary. They make it necessary to have an election with the hope of one party forming a majority.

    I hope they get another minority government. When it works it works better than majority governments do.
