Can you explain this cause of the Iraq war in different ways?

For a school project I had to pick a primary cause of the Iraq war. My reason was :

The creation, research and destruction of weapons of mass destruction played a primary role in causing the Iraq war.

Could you explain or evaluate this cause in one of the following ways and tell me which one?

o Geographic, political, economic, cultural, psychological

I've done all the other ways and I can't figure any of these out.
I will select a best answer so please try your best if you'd like the points.

First of all I will help as much as I can......but you have selected as the "primary cause"..... a minor reason..... a contributing factor but NOT the cause.(email me I will tell you the causes)
Second.... accepting your false premise..... you restrict analysis to labels that have little or nothing to do with the reason

If WMDs were the cause (?) the questions should be....
Did WMDs actually exist?....... Was there a realistic possibility they would be used against America or her allies? ....... Was invasion the proper response to the threat or were there other options?..... Has the threat been removed?..... Why are we still there?

I can answer all of these questions with facts......be glad to help if I can
