Is there a way to recover your computers internet history?

After the internet history has been deleted, is there a way to recover the history?

If so, how do I find the history?

If you've deleted it from Internet Explorer using Tools > Delete Browsing History, or similar then it can still be found (I think) in a folder hidden away somewhere in your documents called Content.IE5 or Content.IE(other number). In there's some browsing history which could be located.

    Hello,

    If you have System restore enabled:

    Right click My Computer -> Properties -> System Restore (make sure it is not checked as off)

    You should be able to restore from a previous restore point since the data is kept in Windows registry. In order to use system restore, you would want to go to:

    Start -> Run -> %SystemRoot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe

    Choose a date previous to when you deleted the history and follow the tutorial. Keep in mind that anything else that was done after the restore point (such as installation of applications) will be lost
