Need help with my meteorology questions!!!?
I need help to answer these questions ASAP! it is due at midnight!
Thanks!
1). Should New Englanders expect heavier precipitation from a slow-moving winter storm that tracks northward along the Atlantic coastline or a fast-moving winter storm that tracks southeastward out of southern Canada? Justify your response.
2). Residents of Chicago look to the west for an indication of what tomorrow’s weather might be. Explain why.
3. Speculate on why the day’s lowest air temperature usually occurs around sunrise. Under what circumstances might the day’s minimum air temperature occur in mid-afternoon?

I will not give you full paragraph answers, but I will give something to help you answer each question.
1) Think about the amount of moisture each low pressure system has to work with. Heavier precipitation usually occurs in storms that have an abundant supply of moisture.
2) Think about the jet stream.
3) Think about daytime heating and nighttime cooling. At dusk, when the sun sets, the Earth's surface will start to cool down. If this process continues the whole night, then the lowest temperatures must occur at sunrise. As for the lowest temperatures during mid-afternoon, consider cold fronts.
