Does buying a ticket guarantee admission at Toronto Film Festival?
I'm confused about TIFF...
IF I want to see a specific film at a specific time on a specific day, I get that I go to the Box Office and buy tickets.
However, will I be able to buy that specific ticket, or do you buy a ticket for a specific film then chance your luck at each screening?
Thanks

Yeah I'm just reading about it now and I can see how it's confusing.
If you're not buying a package and are going downtown to buy the tickets at the Box Office then it's like a regular theater. If they're sold out then you can't see the show.
So it's either buying a package which will allow you to see a set amount of films and that doesn't guarantee you'll get to see the one you want because it might be full when you get there.
Or going downtown and buying an individual ticket for a specific movie at a specific time. If the movie is full , they won't sell you a ticket.
In other words in both cases it's first come, first serve.

It guarantees you into the festival, but if there is a certain film you want to see, you better line up early so that you can be in attendance. You might be able to purchase a ticket for a specific screening, but those tickets will cost a bit more than a day pass.
