Cancer Man Libra Woman, can we make it work???

Question

Does anyone have experience in being with a cancer guy? My ex fiance and I broke up because of his emotional "abuse" if you can call it that. I'm a libra. The more I tried to convince him that he's the guy for me,the more he became distant and rude! I know he loves me, he is now getting help in dealing with his emotions, so I just want to know if we can make it work. I really love this guy and being apart for these last 2 months has not been easy for me.

I've read up on emotional abuse but also on his star sign,and it says that these guys can be VERY emotional,sarcastic, clingy, overly jealous and gives me the silent treatment. These are the things that pushed me away, the fact that no matter what I did, he always thought I was going to leave.

When we didn't have fights, (which wasn't that often), we were really good together. Like the couples you see in movies. We were friends, we could talk about anything or nothing and were just so comfortable with each other. But when we fought, it got UGLY!

Also, I told my friends about our fights because I didn't know how to deal with it. Now they don't like him. They said he tried to take me away from them, but they don't understand that he would rather be at home with me than anywhere else. I just don't want to confuse emotional abuse with the way cancer men are. And what I've read about them is EXACTLY the way he is.

Can we make it work? I really want to,but I'm afraid of getting hurt again,and of hurting him again.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I'm engaged to a cancer man, and I'm a libra. They can be epic moody butts, and when we first got together, we never thought we'd make it this far. We fought all the time about the stupidest things, but we're workin on it. One time he wouldn't talk to me for days because I asked him what was wrong! Psycho...lol. I always tried to convince him we could really make it as a couple, but he kept pushing me away, so one day I just let him, then he kinda changed his tune. Libra's are great at pretending to be indifferent, and we're both sensitive affectionate signs, we're just more social and logical, where as cancer is a lonely jealous lunatic. Nothing's impossible, you both just need to compromise, and try to understand one another, we are very different from our crabby crabs. Figure out what you do that upsets him, and tell him what upsets you, and promise each other to work on these things, and be patient with each other. Good Luck!!!

I'm really sorry to hear about that.omg...... cancers are very moody and gravitate toward drama, I have a cancer daughter, and I'm a libra. I can't tell you the hell she recently put me through over the past 2 years, I've had it.
Cancers do not bring out the best in Libras, you need an Aries. Good luck.
