Cleaner for hardwood floors?

What is the best natural hardwood cleaners for hardwood floors?
We had them refinished a couple of months ago with a chemical treatment, so I can not use my steam mop anymore, I dislike the smell of pinesol and it leaves a residue, I used soap and water and it left a residue and I didn't put that much in it, but I do need some thing that does kill germs I have two little ones.

Use the BONA series of hardwood floor cleaners. This company sells products that use natural cleaners, which won't leave a sticky residue and won't damage the sealer on top of your floor.

You can find BONA brand mops & cleaning solution in your local hardware store and at most markets. I buy mine from ACE Hardware and home depot. They are also available online at Amazon.

Vinegar is a fabulous product to use on hardwood floors. It cleans without leaving a residue! The scent can be a little unpleasantly powerful for a little while, but clears quickly.

Vinegar is a mainstay of the old folk recipes for cleaning, and with good reason. The vim of the vinegar is that it kills bacteria, mold and germs.

Numerous studies show that a straight 5 percent solution of vinegar—thekind you can buy in the supermarket—kills 99 percent of bacteria, 82 percent of mold, and 80 percent of germs (viruses). Heinz can’t claim on their packaging that vinegar is a disinfectant since the company has not registered it as a pesticide with the Environmental Protection Agency. However, it seems to be common knowledge in the industry that vinegar is powerfully antibacterial.

Bona - MANY people will tell you vinegar and water because of its great uses... just make sure to test a spot out before hand- the reason I say this is because vinegar is acidic and it can cause your finish to look super funky and dull.... so beware with the vinegar trick... I recommend Bona because its eco-it always has been and it not only cleans my floors but makes them really shine (without the slip - like murphys, yuck!) I can actually wear socks and not slide arund like Tom Cruise in Risky business. hehehehe Here's a company that tested Bona Hardwood Mop and cleaners with Swiffer (P.s. I use the Bona and the microfiber clothes wash really well... so far haven't had to replace them for new ones - money saver!!)
    Here's the article I found!:

    Hope this helps.
