I'd be more worried about the people you know who lost their virginity when they were 12!
There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a virgin! And at your age it is perfectly fine and normal (regardless of what some other people might tell you) to not be ready to have sex. Physical maturity and emotional maturity are radically different things.
Believe it or not, there are still <gasp> people who wait until they are married to have sex!

No you should not be worried! A lot of people don't lose their virginity until their mid 20s or sometimes even later than that, so don't rush anything. Just have fun with school and friends and it will happen when the time is right. Studies have shown that people who have lost their virginity at a younger age had family problems and/or a troubled childhood, so the only way they think they can be happy is having sex as soon as possible, which was probably the case with the 12 year old you heard of.

wow! 12 years old is really young to lose your virginity. 15 is also way too young. You have absolutely nothing to be worried about. Just wait until the time is right with someone that you love and care about. Just because your friends lost their virginity early doesn't mean you have to. Don't rush into anything before you are ready just to be like your friends. It might turn into something you regret. You have a long time ahead of you to make a decision. Just wait until YOU are ready, and don't worry about what others think!

No you shouldn't be worried. I lost mine whne I was 17 to my ex who I loved at the time. I'd have rather lost it that way than to someone I didn't really know or just had sex to lose my virginity.

It's far better to wait til there's someone you feel comfortable with and lose it then, it's a far more rewarding experrience.

No. Being a virgin is a wonderful thing. And 12 year olds losing their virginity?? Gross! Here is what I have to say:
Once you lose it, you will regret it. Because you will run across a girl who means soooo much to you that you will want to give that to her. But then you can't, because you already gave it away. Save it. For someone majorly special.

Don't base your life around what some people around you have done. When you're ready and the situation is right for you, it'll happen. Just don't be in a rush, live your life the way you want to.

Absolutely not! you're perfectly normal and you should still be a virgin at the age of 15. If everyone was jumping off a bridge would you do it? because some people did at the age of 12 or whatever? Keep in mind you're body is still maturing and kids your age and younger are not physically or mentally ready to handle sex, so for now just enjoy being a kid,with no kids, no bills, no credit card debt, rent or other responsibilities.

hey, well the people that you know whom lost it at age 12 are idiots, and they might not think it now, but they will when they are all grown up. If i were you, i would wait as long as i could. You do not want to be a 16 year old father, do you. You have your whole life ahead of you, so there is plenty of time. Don't worry about it. you should be happy to have it and not lost it to just some random girl. find a girl and fall in love with her like real love and then do it. but im 18 and i still have mine, and im happy about that because that means hopefully the guy i lose it to will actually mean alot to me other than an f buddy.
