So, I recently discovered I'm going to be in...?
...the dating pool again and I'm unsure about it all. I will be getting a divorce (married 11 years) after the holidays and I was curious if there is an expected "wait time" before I start dating again? Should I wait or should I give it some time before jumping back in the saddle?

You sound like a great guy. Most guys wouldn't even care about that. But I really think that out of respect for your ex-wife, you should wait. Maybe at least two months. Because if you don't, people will talk. They will think things like you cheated on her or you are just plain rude. It's happened to people in my family before. It gets really hard for them because people think they are so bad because they try to find new love. I don't see anything wrong with it, but most people aren't so easy going.

it's up to you.
if you feel like you're ready to jump back on the saddle go ahead. but take it easy, the horses out there today are a lot different from the ones 11 years ago. when you get into a steady rhythm, go ahead and gallop into the horizon.

Just give yourself a chance to adjust to your new status. There is no particular waiting period. Just take it slow. You don't want to get into a rebound situation.
