How many hours for a high school homeschooling day?
My parents are considering homeschooling me, so I am creating a schedule for myself. I'm giving myself about 45 minutes for Algebra and History. (My two hardest subjects.) And then 30 minutes for Bible, English, and Biology. Would that be enough time for each subject? (I'm doing the BJU dvd's.) Thank you!

The great thing about homeschooling is that there are NO restrictions and schedules. Therefore, you do not necessarily need a schedule. But if you want to make one that's fine.
Im online schooling which is pretty close to home schooling. I would say spending 3-5 hours a day on learning is fine. If you are very motivated then go for it.
You can also create a checklist on your computer or yahoo. Good luck.

Well, in certain states you're REQUIRED to have a certain amount of hours for a homeschooling day. Like, Tennessee needs five hours I think...
But it seems like you're pretty organized so far. (I never get my subjects done that fast. I'm so easily distracted. XD) Well, hope you enjoy homeschooling!
And yes, DON'T FORGET TO DO YOUR DAILY DEVOTIONS!! My mom makes me do it right before school so I don't forget. Good way to start off the day. ^_^

I homeschool my two step son's everyday M-F for 4 and a half hours each day. That is the standard that the board of education feels is adequate enough. But I do this with books and me as a teacher instead of using virtual studies off the internet. So I would think that since you are using the dvd's , then that should be enough time for you to comprehend what you need to.
