I just realized that I want to be a record producer.?
I have been doing alot of research on this, but I want to know a few art, music, etc. schools. I would also know what degree should a record producer should get. I was wondering whoever is out there to help me. I want to be one, but I just don't know what school I should go to. Could you give me some information on this subject?

Full Sail is ur best bet for that specific type, and its not that hard to get into. All Division 1 schools have great music programs, but not many have good programs w/n that area. Im really sure Frost the School of Music (UM's music program) has a good one, and the girl is rt about Musicians Institute, they should have a program w/ that area

I want to be one too! Here is what I know. Being a producer is not a set job, like you might think. It is very similar to be a musician! University Of Miami has a very good music department, I would suggest taking a class in audio engineering. There is no required degree, a degree in music production or engineering may or may not help you at all in your career! All producers are musicians, and the vast majority of them start out in music careers. Other good colleges are Julliard in NYC, Eastman, New England Conservatory, Musicians Institute
