I cant sleep...so what shall i do?

Whoa, some of these people's answers are insulting. . . .
I suggest one or more of the following:
1. Perhaps you haven't wasted enough of your energy. Try doing activities that burn up energy before you sleep. Not directly before though, you shouldn't spike your heart rate and then go to sleep.
2. Try eating a turkey sandwich and a glass of warm milk. The turkey contains an ingredient that helps you fall asleep
3. Often people require a completely dark room to sleep, try blacking out any light source or even purchasing a sleeping mask
4. People don't sleep because of stress. Just lay down in your bed with the lights off and try to relax. Imagine a place that is better then where your are now and see yourself go there. That technique is my personal favorite.
If your trouble does persist you might need to seek medical help, it might not be your fault. Take it easy.

Try to do things during the day that take energy off you, so that at night you ´re so tired that you just fall asleep and sleep like a log.
Doing exercise, going for a long walk, working a lot, studying a lot, the type of things that will make you feel exhausted.
Unless you´re too worried about something in particular, I´m sure you´ll solve the problem. Don´t get obsessed with this, because the more you try to fall asleep the the more difficulty you´ll have.

Its Very Simple Problem.
Try To Follw My Steps.
Before Going To Bad Follow These Steps.
Drink One Glass Hot Milk & Don't Drink Coffee or Tea.
After That Brush Your Teeth & Bath With Hot Water.
After Completing Your Bath, Then Go To Your Bad & Sleep.
Before Going To Sleep,
Count Number From 1 to 100.
Concentrate On Numbers Only.
Count Slowly & Concentrate On Numbers, Lot of Things Comes In To Your Mind & Thay Change Your Mind From Counting Numbers To Some Other Thing.
At That Time Againg Start From 1 & Count As Slowly As Possible.
If You Follow These Steps, You Can Overcome Your Problem.
I Followed Tose Steps & I Got Results.

seriously? breathe deeply. take a melatonin or a benedryl. read a boring book. get up & dust the house. revel in the tedium.

drink some green tea.
draw.
play the guitar, or any instrument.

Any physical activity will help you sleep. But if you're just in need of something to do, watch a movie. I would recommend "Garden State".
