Going to gym 1st time....?

went to a gym 1st time in my life today...wow, haven't seen so many naked guys my age at the public showers before.... for some reason i got 'turned on' and became semi-hard... i am worried, is this normal as i don't think i am gay..... i just turned 17

It's normal. Don't worry about stuff you have no control over. The first couple of times can seem overwhelming - but things will slack off in time.
