??? H1N1 flu shot? and being temporarily paralysed?

i have heard of a few people being temporarily paralysed from the shot.. why does that happen?? is it an allergy?? or what im concerned.. anybody in the medical field here that can help??? thanks

Yes, the flu vaccine can cause Guillain-Barre Syndrome. In fact, my old Dr. told me NOT to get the current h1n1 vaccine because he still has patients who are paralyzed from the waist down from a similar flu scare back in the '70's when there was a bad flu outbreak and the FDA rushed a vaccine through too quickly.

Just remember, my old Dr. told me, "Flu symptoms can be treated and it will more than likely go away. Permanent nerve damage cannot be treated and lasts forever."

thank you.. i was around during that fort dix flu scare .. im worried because of having lupus my immune system is weak i have been boosting it since the summer i knew this h1n1 would be similar to the one in the 1970's , im tryin to avoid people and the shot.. thanks again .. and to all who answered
