Yes. Between December 2007 - January 2008. A lot of bad things happen in my life all at once.

Two of my friends turned on me. My ex capricorn boyfriend dumped me, moved on pretty fast, moved away, and knocked me out of his life. My current pisces boyfriend (at the time) was cheating on me. And 3 days after taking my virginity, he dumped me. Big surprise. In december my capricorn guy friend who I sat next too in class killed himself. I didn't know him that well, but for some reason it really had a strong effect on me.

On january 1st 2008 by best friend Linda killed herself. And only a few days later my cousin Raylene killed herself. On top of that my parents were getting a divorce. My whole live caved in on me at once.

Jan 08. was the worst month of my life, I miss raylene & linda a lot, but life gets better. I still keep their pictures by my bedside.

Contemplated, and purged the idea since I love life too much and the chances of someone not finding you in time are too high, especially when you just contemplate suicide to draw attention to a deeper rooted problem, which was the case with me. (Which was that someone help me deal with an alcoholic boyfriend who became psychotic under influence)

i have alot when i was in my teen years actually :( im sorry you have too you ever feel down hun and let me know send me a message and i will give you my email i spend alot of time answering your questions but if you have something you want to talk about please let me know i am too far away to help you but maybe talking would do some good. I use to get so depressed i never wanted to leave home i drank and did drugs acted like a hethen and though alot of people have fun with party's i didn't. I have a semi bad past though i have delt with a lot of sexual abuse for many years and then abandonment in my family causing me to be in foster care some amount of years, sometimes being alone can be the worst feeling. I learned to forgive and to love myself and the suicide well i had started cutting and doing dumb stuff i got therapy reconnected with my family and now im very close with my parents reguardless dont ever feel like there is not a way out!

I've thought about it when I was younger. But could never go through go with it. Especially after I began to think about all the other people that have killed themselves over the years. Sorry to say but they basically took the easy way out of life. There are people that are starving at night, there are people who are homeless, and people living on their last breath with cancer and lukemia and all sorts of medical illnesses.

For you to kill yourself because of some awful situation you THINK is the end of the world for you, there are others around the world who have it 10x worse. That's why I have never gone through with it. I'm not taking the easy way out.

Wow that's even a bit too dark for me, (reading some of these answers), but no I've never attempted suicide. i dont even know how i would go about taking my own life: shoot myself, jump off a bridge, slit my wrists perhaps, swallow a whole btl of pills... that's all so crazy. i just don't understand suicide. i can't imagine life getting that bad. i cant even ponder what life event(s) would make me suicidal. anyhow suicide doesnt even cross my mind. unless someone actually does commit suicide, it's terrible news; that's the only time I really actually give it even a good amount of thought.

Contemplated it ? Yes.
Attempted it ? No.

Was a cutter (& a burner) in my late teens & early 20's.
Dealt with a lot of crap myself, as far as sex goes.
Mainly too much pressure & negative criticism for still waiting.
Also, being born with a disability doesn't make that stuff any better.
Being seen as "defective" or just someone who could easily be taken
advantage of. Honestly, it's also the reason why I've also developed one HECK of a temper & a defensive streak !

It's not an easy thing to deal with.
I've had counseling myself as well.
It's helped, but in some cases, it's a slow process.
But, not a hopeless one. One step at a time.

I did when I was younger, it was both the best & worst thing that happened to me. Best because of how much I learned from it, how much it change my attitude/outlook on life & because it actually ended up getting me clean from certain things. Worst because of the physical pain & having to see my family go through it with me. I can tell you one thing though, I'll sure as hellllll never try it again.
