Did Special K have little flakes about 25-30 years ago?

Question

I seem to remember Special K being comprised of small, fruity pebble-sized flakes when I was a kid. Can anyone confirm this somehow?

OMG YES!!!
I love d these., I am 29 and remember these I LOVED them,. and was so upset when special K become boring and dull big flakes.

they taste completely different and not very nice and crispy compared to the little flakes,.
I was so upset. The big flakes are too sweet and gloopy and don't have the delicate crunch that little flakes did,
they have NEVER been nice and special like the old little ones.
I don't know what they though, maybe they are trying to compete with corn flakes, but all they have is a sugar gloopy texture big flakes which is too heavy and not light and makes your teeth ache.

They still do here in Canada, only the newer flavoured ones with the chocolate bits, dried strawberries and multigrain one, are flakes like Wheaties, the small light coloured pinky nail size flakes/bits are still made,my mother still eats them, they go to soggy for me, I am an All bran man.

You are correct. The Special K when we were kids were the shape and size of Fruity Pebbles. I haven't had Special K in a while but I remember part of the appeal of Special K when I was little were the small flakes
