There is this really HOt older guy that lives in the same apartments as i do and ive never talked to him but i wish i could all we do is stare at each-other when i drive by his apartment, cause on my way to my apt. his is on the way so i have to pass by it and when i pass by will Just stare at each other and ill look back to c if his still looking at me and wen i look he is.. and today wen i drove by we just stared at each other really hard and then when i got closer he did this thing wit his tongue. my bro told me that it can mean that i turn him on or something.. n e ideas on wat it could mean??? And wat should i do next time i c him? Should i smile or just stare back?? Its just a crush rite dis dsnt mean i like him yet rite?

ok, the tongue thing sounds really pervy and creepy. If he is mature enough to want some luvin or watever from u he needs to just talk to you. Or You talk to him first.

First of all, how much older? If you are 20, then it may not be the best thing for you to approach somebody that is in their late 20's or even older because you are simply in two different places in your lives. Crushes and flirtation is great, but it won't last until you experience a little more of what the world has to offer as you mature. You should enjoy being young.

If you don't care and want to see what could happen, then by all means go for it. If he is staring like that, then there is obviously some sort of attraction or fascination.

Why don't you simply make the first move? Unless he jumps on your windshield as you drive by, chances are you won't get a chance to talk. Personally, I like it when a woman makes the first move or instigates conversation because it let's us know right away that you are interested and we don't waste time playing games to try to figure out if you are or not.

I would just walk by one day and say hi. Let him know you see him all the time and just wanted to introduce yourself. Start with some small talk and see where it goes. Are you from the area, what do you do for work, are you a convicted felon or a serial rapist? You know... the usual. If things go well and there are still signs of interest, let him know how hard it is to meet nice guys where you live. It may take a few conversations, but eventually maybe something will happen. If it drags on too long, be the agressor and ask him if he wants to do something sometime.
