Budweiser Budvar (Budějovický Budvar) is the original Budweiser and dates to 1785. It was usurped by Anheuser-Busch for their swill. They have fought back on the trademark a bit. The american Budweiser must be marketd as just "Bud" in Europe.

Budvar / Czechvar depending on location, it's better than the U.S. Bud
but compared to other Czech beers I have had, average in my opinion.
