I have a few squEEky doors in my new home and?
I just moved into this new place and a few of the doors are really squeaky when you go to close them. Not so much a problem in the day time as it is when everyone is sleeping at night. Anyways I am just looking for any sort of home remedies that I could use to address this issue as I do not want to have to buy anything for it.
Thank you!

Take a screw driver and a hammer, hit the screw driver handle with the hammer against the top part of the hinge, that is the head of the hinge "pin" and you want to knock this upward, when you do, remove it, lubricate the pin with engine oil and re-insert it into the hinge, do this for all the others.
