Ashes and Lawn care health?

are ashes from a bond fire good for you lawn?

Not really. Wood ash is extremely alkaline. When it gets wet it becomes lye. Lye is caustic and can burn just like acid.
If you have soil that is very acid, you can add wood ash to help bring the pH to neutral, but a small amount goes a long way.
