This girl is sending me mixed signals. What do you all think?

I finally made the move and approached her after class last week. In our conversation she made eye contact, laughed, mentioned within the first 2 minutes that she had an ex-boyfriend, and told me the "type of person she is."

When I added her on Facebook like 2 days later, we chatted for a bit which was all good, and then I invited her to hangout this weekend. I gave her my number and then immediately after she gave me hers. Waited 2 days and I sent her a text, and this is where things get sketch...She gave short answer responses and after a few more, I got the picture: She wasn't interested in texting back and forth. I thought this was strange because she seemed into me, and I ALWAYS see her texting like craz in class, so I know she's a fan...Did I do something wrong? Did I invite her out too soon?

being a girl, i understand how girls work. i text a lot in class, but i hate texting outside of school, and i always send short replies, so it doesn't necessarily mean that she doesn't want to talk to you. plus, girls usually like to be chased, and it seems like she may very possibly be into you. try not to text her if you're getting short responses. just try to hang out with her more, and see where things go. if she doesn't show signs that she likes you, well then she's not worth it anyway, and you'll find somebody better. don't stress too much; just go with the flow.
