Have you ever felt this way?

everyone is telling me to forget about him and that I deserve better, but I really feel like I don't. If someone as terrible as him doesn't want a girl like me, than how am I worthy to be with someone better?

and have you ever gotten over that feeling?

I am currently going through the exact same thing, in fact the guy in question in going out with my best friend...
but i had liked him and he had said he'd liked me back before they started dating...
so, yes, i feel that way and it hurts.
but i suppose we just have to think that this sort of thing happens to so many people and if they can deal with it, then we can too.
"If someone as terrible as him doesn't want a girl like me, than how am i worthy to be with someone better?"
i don't think i've worked that bit out yet...
perhaps the universe was sending a message, one that said you shouldn't be with him and you can do better and that's why what happened happened...
i don't know if i've helped you at all or if i've just rambled about something that doesn't even make sense.
i'm just letting you know that there are others with you in feeling the way you do..
xo and good luck

I lived in that feeling for a long time.

If someone terrible doesn't want you it means nothing bad on you. Some people just are not designed to work out. Whether someone is better isn't based upon thier merits. It is based upon how you complement each other.

It will get better even though it hurts now. At some point you will look back and be glad to lose him because it taught you something and opened you up to someone better.

yeah i think i got a little of that going on with my ex.

but you just gotta convince yourself that YOU are worth it. that your EX was not worth it

and move on. no point in dwelling and wasting your life away.

i really loved my ex. we were perfect together for a year, but after that, it went down hill for about 6 months.

i took one month of listening to break up music and love music to get over her. and i took another month haning with friends and talking to people about moving on and i just recently started dating and flirting again.

so. you can cry for a little bit. but, ya gotta pick yourself up and move on.

You'll get over it, give it time. Just keep telling yourself, "F*ck him." It helps.

It's not your fault that he's terrible. You'll find someone who appreciates you for who you are. It all takes time.

i had the same problem. opposite positions, she did not want me. once i realized everyone is different in their wants beliefs and "mate types". things changed.
