Opportunity for a better answer to pouring ketchup?
when you enter a diner.....or begin to prepare a meal at home, lay the ketchup bottle on its side. The liquid kitchup will settle to the bottom side, allowing air to pass to the back of the bottle. You will find that depending on the temperature of the ketchup bottle, in about 3 to 4 minutes, the ketchup will flow easily from the bottle. I have used this technique (my origination) since 1991.

- Glad to know that I am not the only sane person in this world. You beat me by 22 years either because you are both intelligent....and....either a child prodigy....or a bit older than me.

The squeeze bottles that stand on end are pretty easy too.
