Who's a good person to ask out?

In my school, the girls in my school are either troublemakers, a different race (not to be racist), or an "innocent" who thinks I'm not her type. In the past, I've always had friends with problems (I won't go into any more detail) and I want to ask out a normal girl at my school. Can anyone give me advice on who to ask out?

Additional Details

Commenting on Sergio's suggestion, I feel like I've found someone, but she might be in another relationship, but if she's not, then I'm very shy to ask her out because when the word gets out, people made fun of me, which happened in my last relationship.

Look for the girl who is not in the mix, the one who pays attention in class and who has a focus. You will have good conversation and no drama.
Also, if you think this type of girl is not as pretty as the drama-queens, I challenge you to speak with this girl for a while. They often have personality traits about them that make them GORGEOUS !!

Asker's Comment:
I found one, but I'm not sure if she has an existing relationship and even if she wasn't, I'm too shy to ask her out. The reason is because I was made fun of because of my last relationship. Is there a way to bypass that?

be friends with her first because relationships dont always last and she might break up with her boyfriend if she has one. then you'll have a head start because you'll already be her friend and then if it seems like she's interested ask her out. Patience is the key with women :)
