Is it possible to truly love someone and like somebody else?

I just saw a question where people were saying that if you were in love and caught feelings for someone else, then you are not in love...

I just don't think that I can agree with that. Love doesn't make you invincible from those feelings. It's all about control to me.

Sometimes I think the second person is probably just a filler for all of the things that your love is missing. If you truly are in love, then that is where the communication has to come in, and you have to think about what it is that this second person is showing you that the first is not.

Hey Boo Thang -

I concur! I absolutely agree with everything you said. It's all about self-control and whether or not you act on that feeling. Being in love does not exclude you from noticing other people. Even if you somehow do find yourself acting on your impulses or feelings, it's probably due to the fact that you're missing a piece of the puzzle from "the one" you are actually in love with.

You are very wise. And I love your avatar/picture!
