Is it possible to truly love someone and like somebody else?
I just saw a question where people were saying that if you were in love and caught feelings for someone else, then you are not in love...
I just don't think that I can agree with that. Love doesn't make you invincible from those feelings. It's all about control to me.
Sometimes I think the second person is probably just a filler for all of the things that your love is missing. If you truly are in love, then that is where the communication has to come in, and you have to think about what it is that this second person is showing you that the first is not.
What are your opinions?

Hey Boo Thang -
I concur! I absolutely agree with everything you said. It's all about self-control and whether or not you act on that feeling. Being in love does not exclude you from noticing other people. Even if you somehow do find yourself acting on your impulses or feelings, it's probably due to the fact that you're missing a piece of the puzzle from "the one" you are actually in love with.
You are very wise. And I love your avatar/picture!

I agree with you. You can definetly be in love and still notice other people. It's just that if you're in love, you won't act on those other people.
I think you've got just the right views on it.

i don't think so..probably you are not apreciated enough so you have feelings for smb else..etc....it doesn't mean this smb else apreciates you already,,just because he likes you

I think that could be classified as 'INFATUATION' and if you CHOOSE to handle it WRONG it is called 'CHEATING' and YOU are a SHALLOW SELF ABSORBED CREATURE.

Of course it is. You just don't act on those feelings.

You have right question, 'is it possible to truly love...'
all know that true love is never ever experienced.
this is like... ' when you are going to buy the pure milk, and you know everywhere adulterated milk is sold and yet you buy what ever comes your way.. assuming 'something is better than nothing'
in the matter of love also no one really is satisfied. as each one feels , other is holding back, hiding something.... etc.
where is the verification of true love?
better way is to find the love in our heart, work you way through the meditation. and when the physical love is lost the spiritual love still glows and flows in our heart. this is the end of our search for true love. and if heart is full of love , we will not seek love like beggars from others and exclaim 'is it true or hypocritical'?
