Would going back to a diet of vegetarian with only dairy thrown in sometimes be the best option for health?

IT depends on where you are coming from. If you eat meat and are planning to become vegetarian it is a good step. If you are vegan planning to go back to vegetarian then not so much.

    Dairy is the most unnatural food that humans consume. There is no other mammal that drinks milk after infancy, let alone the milk of a different species. Cow's milk is the perfect food for baby cows, not for adult humans. Somehow the dairy industry has convinced people that they "need" milk and that it is an ideal food for humans. There are no nutrients in milk that you can't get from a plant source. It's hard to imagine that such an unnatural food could ever be best for your health.
