I need advice for when I meet my boyfriends family!!!?

I'm going to his dads birthdy dinner, it's formal and a lot of his family will be there. Anyone have any tips?

Dress appropriately
Bring something as a gift whether its flowers,dessert, anything it doesn't have to be big, just a gesture.
Just be friendly and make conversation.
Brush up on table etiquette and manners if its formal
Offer to help clean up when the meal is over
I guess this is obvious but don't slobber all over your boyfriend :)

bring some food, or a gift his dad might like
be polite, thankyou and please
if you're going to be affectionate with your boyfriend, try to keep it to just holding hands(but let your boyfriend know, why you're doing this)
help out (might offer to pick up plates, or take out trash, wash dishes, or help set the table)
be friendly, smile, handshakes are a good way to introduce yourself.
