Well, what did you do to get banned?

If it is nothing serious, then you can just get this thing called a xbox hard drive migration kit. It only costs like $12. Look it up on http://www.ebay.com It allows you to transfer all dlc and accounts from one xbox hard drive to another. But the thing is that the swap has to go from a smaller to a larger hard drive.

You should do the migration because it is your xbox console that is banned, not your gamertag, at least for now.

And if you're doing something with your xbox that gets you banned, you should get a life and stop.

Good luck!

well i would give it a try because even if you do lose all of your stuff you wouldnt be better off not recovering because then you still dont have the stuff

It's probably your console that is banned and not your Xbox Live Account

Yes, you can recover the gamertag on another console.

However, if you mod the new console, keep in mind that your gaming history will still be associated with your gamertag. So, if there is anything in the history that will raise red flags (ie playing games before the release date, playing badly ripped games etc) you may be looked at again and your new console may be banned.

There is a theory out there that it is wise to say goodbye to your gamertag if your console gets banned and start clean with a new console. Then be careful what you play and when you play it.

You should also take all your games and run them though ABGX360 and be sure they all check out. Otherwise you could be playing bad rips and you may get the hammer again.

I just had my xbox banned too, as well as my gamer tag. I'm not sure if the gamer tag ban is permanent or not. Anyone have this happen to them?

and if you want free Microsoft Points or Xbox LIVE codes, or anything else, I would suggest using Prize Rebel. I thought it was fake, but then I tried it and I wanted to get 1600 MS points, so I gathered up enough points by answering surveys, and I put in a request, and in my email box there was a code for the 1600 MS points. I'm so happy it works. You should try it. Sign up here: http://moourl.com/iz7j5
