wouldn't last for long. scorpio is an extreme sign which does NOT mean they bounce of the walls all the time like an aries. they can go be extreme about being depressive for instance. they are just not predictable, you might think this scorpio is an aries one day and a pisces other... that's why scorpio get along with other water signs the best. water signs, being very emphatic and stuff understands...no, feels, what scorpio feels in that instant and gets along with that mood, especially pisces. cancer and scorpio also would be great but they need a lot more time to solve their trust issues, compared to pisces.

after a while, i bet a typical aries would feel shallow to you. and that's if you are a typical scorpio too. cause if your ascendant is a leo or gemini or aries or some other sign with high energy level, that would change the things around.

one more thing to add; saying those both has the same ruler; mars means, they both, when needed, can be destructive, assertive or pushy if you like. mars is definitely not the best planet to establish a common ground.

Scorpio's original ruler (ancient ruler) along with Pluto which is a more recent ruler of Scorpio. When pluto was discovered Mars was then assigned to Aries.
