Should i talk to her in person or write her a letter? please help?

There's this girl who I really like and I'm pretty sure she likes me in the same way. However, I feel like things are going downhill because I haven't really expressed how much I like her. So I've decided to just tell her how I feel (and don't tell me not to, I've made up my mind). Since seeing her is getting harder and harder to do, I've thought about just writing her a letter so I wouldn't be waiting to see her one-on-one. So my question is, which would be better, in person or a letter? I'm a somewhat shy guy so I feel more confident about expressing how much I like her on paper, but not sure if it would be as powerful if I say her in person. Thanks to everyone who answers, I'll really appreciate it. Plus I'll give 10 points to best answer.

hiya matt, its best you write her a letter,because you can take your time and write every think you want to tell her,were if you talk face to face you forget half of it.so a letter is much better.any way girls like to get love letters,and that is what it will be.so write your letter telling her all you want to tell her,then she can read it in private,so she can read it over and over again.give it to her when she is on her own ,its better that way.good luck.xx

Either way you should probably tell her how you feel. If I were you and I were shy then I would do it on paper because that is what you are more comfortable with. In person would be more powerful as you put it but a letter is just as good because then she has it to look at over and over again. So really the choice is up to you, I would go with the letter.
