I don't know what I should do!?

Question

Well i had a dance last friday at my new school and i really liked this one guy and he said he really liked me so we texted each other ALL weekend and on monday i told all of one of my friends we kissed and my friend spread it to the entire school and now even of the other campuses know. but the thing is we didn't really kiss and this has gone WAY to out of hand. i don't want to say i lied because then everyone is going to think i'm a liar but i don't want to keep it this way (saying that we did kiss) because then people will think i'm a ****. And he removed me as a friend on facebook but i don't know why because i don't think he knows that i said anything. please please please give your advise to me because i don't know what to do! =( and if possible can you please think of something i can say to everyone that would be great. thank you so much :)

Tell him that it was just a rumor and that your sorry that it got out of hand. Then tell your friend how it ruined what you had between your crush.

Best thing is to tell them the truth. But okay, if you don't want to, you can tell everyone that you didn't mean him but another guy. But then, everyone is going to think you're a ****. Or you can tell everyone that you want to kiss him but you never did, that they heard it wrong. Say to the guy that you've never say this and that it's a stupid lie from someone who hates you and that he or she told this to everyone to make you scared or whatever.

(but the best is, like I've told ya, to tell the truth)

1) apologize
2) say you were drunk/tipsy ( i would do this one)

You should ask the guy how come he deleted you.
