Exactly why do men snore?
ok I am willing to accept the one or two women may snore, but why do men do it. It's not in their best interests is it?

- See what you're saying but women don't continually complain about a head ache ALL night long! lol

It has nothing to do with gender. It's a medical condition that can be made worse by being over weight. Sometimes there is a surgery that can be done to relieve the snoring but any doctor would tell someone that snores to try methods like breathing treatments, face masks, nose strips, lose weight then if all fails the procedure may work.

A blockage in the respiratory system results in the irregular passage of air while breathing during sleep. The vibration that occurs when air is obstructed in the respiratory system causes a sound or noise to be emitted. These sounds are referred to as snores. Blockages commonly occur in the throat, jaw or nasal passageway.

when my husband and I went to mexico to visit his family he didnt snore after the first week. thats when i learned, he snores when he is fatigued. because we were able to get enough sleep while in mexico, he didnt become fatigued and therefore didnt snore.

my husband didn't used to snore but lately he snores really bad I hate it, he started having sinus problems so that is why he started snoring.

People snore because their airway gets blocked while they sleep. It's as simple as that.
I don't think anyone actually wants to snore, but people can't control it!

Not only men snore. Women do too. Can be due to overweight, smoking, cold, age (sadly seems to come on more with age)
